Kako'o has teamed with industry veteran and large business firm Spectrum Healthcare Resources, Inc. (SHR), to form the Kako'o Spectrum Healthcare Staffing (KSHS) joint venture. Under this SBA-approved Mentor-Protege Agreement, KSHS provides professional healthcare staffing and management solutions to the Department of Defense, federal government agencies, commercial hospitals, and other clients. The KSHS joint venture is an NHO-owned 8(a) Small Disadvantaged Business concern.

As an MPA 8(a) joint venture, KSHS represents a firm with more then 35 years of joint corporate experience serving our federal customers through the recruitment, placement, and management of more than 30,000 healthcare professionals. This arrangement enables both member firms to contribute the requisite management and support resources needed to produce more fully integrated and comprehensive project outcomes than seen in other teaming arrangements. The members of KSHS have already teamed together on numerous staffing opportunities across the United States.

KSHS has in-place extensive infrastructure, including in-house recruiters, credentialiers, and client relations managers to provide worry-free service, management, and performance of requirements. Uniquely, KSHS utilizes medical leadership who screen candidates to ensure clinical skill-sets and "fit" with the customer. KSHS also has extensive corporate experience with Department of Defense credentialing/privileging requirements underpinned by our Joint Commission-certified processes that result in a thorough vetting of candidates to deliver only the most qualified healthcare professionals to our customers.
